Asymmetric cryptography, also known as public-key cryptography, uses a public key for encrypting a message and a private key for decrypting it. This method ensures that only the intended recipient can read the message. However, if intercepted by an enemy, the public key can be used to send false messages. To prevent this, a symmetric key algorithm can be used for exchanging keys.
